Overview

If a stakeholder does not agree with a Planning Decision or Notice, they can appeal the decision or notice in the appropriate appellate court. Planning appeals must be filed within the designated time period. The appeal types are relevant to the Application Types in the system and are created here. They will appear in a drop-down list attached to the Appeal Type field in the New Appeal wizard of an individual application.

Navigate to Home > Permitting > Planning > Appeal Types (Manage).

Add an Appeal Type

Click on  +Add . The New Appeal Type dialog box appears:

1. Provide a Name for the new Appeal type.
2. Click  Add.

Edit an Appeal Type

Click on the Edit icon under Actions. The Edit Appeal Type dialog box appears:

1. Rename the Appeal Type.
2. Click Save.

Delete an Appeal Type

Click on the Delete icon under Actions. The following dialog box appears:

1. Click on  Remove to delete the appeal type.
